Restricted Casinos in Serbia

It is worth recalling that earlier in Serbia 7 foreign companies that offered games in online casinos and sports betting on the Internet for residents of this country were banned. Among these companies are Bwin.party and William. On the eve of the Association of gambling operators of Serbia, a negative opinion was expressed about the agreement concluded between the state lottery and the sportsbook company Sportingbet, the agreement allegedly violates the laws of the country, suppressing fair competition, damaging companies and online players.
No long a large-scale police raid against illegal gambling was held, in which hundreds of police officers took part. Milizhko Radisavljevic said that as a result, 17 people were arrested, accused of non-payment of taxes in the millions of Euro. Among the arrested was a senior inspector in the Department of gambling and sports betting of the country.
