Restricted Casinos in Tajikistan

In Gissar district the businessman organized a casino in a large shopping center “Sharif”. On the second floor, he installed 27 slots. In the Rudaki district, the capitalist opened a hall in which 32 gamblers were waited for gamblers. And a 46-year-old woman, who opened a casino in the same area, outdid all of them – in her gambling establishment as many as 45 slots were found. Tajik Interior Ministry spokesman Umardzhoni Emomali explained that the decision was made after the violations in the capital’s bookmaker companies of fire safety rules. In normal mode bookmakers of Dushanbe will return after eliminating violations.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs officially banned visiting of entertaining centers (restaurants, Internet cafes, bookmakers) by citizens (under the age of 20), in accordance with the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Parental Responsibility for the Upbringing and Teaching of Children”. According to the agency, in the event of failure to comply with the requirements of the law, parents of violators of order will be held accountable.
