Myanmar seeks to develop tourism and increase tourism flow. For this purpose, tourists are offered a casino as one of the entertainment. In total, there are five legal casinos on the island of Myanmar – two on the islands (Pulo and Thathhai Kun) and three on the continent (Tachilek near Thailand and the city of Muavaddi)

There is an opinion that there are illegal non-public casinos in the jungles of the Golden Triangle, but for tourists it does not matter, as visiting these places is either dangerous for life or impossible. Also in any of the legal casinos it is impossible to use the services of a bookmaker, to bet on the outcome of races or other sporting events.

On the island of Pulo is located the hotel Treasure Island Resort & Casino. The casino at this hotel is the largest on the island of Myanmar. Andaman Club Resort & Casino was built on Thathhai Kun Island. There is a casino here, this is the most popular casino in the country. And it is popular with tourists – Thais, Chinese (gambling is prohibited there) and visitors from other countries. For the inhabitants of the island of Myanmar, although gambling in the country is not prohibited, the game is mostly too expensive.
