Back in 2012, the government of the island state approved bill that legalizes the activities of gambling establishments. However, plans are only plans, and the harsh reality and economic crisis slowed the implementation of an ambitious resort. Both developers have already sent official letters with a request to revise the terms of the beginning of work and the actual delivery of facilities. Now the government has the right to: close the projects, impose a fine on the faulty companies or give the developers a second chance.
At the moment, the reasons for the delays in construction are not disclosed. It is known that in the last few years at the home of the fastest runner of the planet Usain Bolt, the standard of living has decreased, crime has increased and the tendency to reduce jobs has become more active. According to the idea of officials, the commissioning of several casinos will attract rich guests to the country, including those, who is ready to invest in the local economy.
