Play’n GO Nominations for Women in Gaming Awards 2018

Last year Play’n GO took Diversity Award during 8th Women in Gaming Awards (WIG). This year they have been nominated in two categories: Best Place to Work and Company of the Year. Even though the company has good chances to win, there are strong competitors.

Play’n GO isn’t the only company receiving multiple nominations. Microgaming, Videoslots, Playtech and Mr Green dominate WIG Awards shortlist. Microgaming is also nominated in Best Place to Work and Company of the Year categories, along with Play’n GO, Leo Vegas and some other companies.

Microgaming might be not that attractive in terms of games released under their brand, but they must have created good working environment. The studio has recently announced their support for All-in Diversity Project that would probably add them some extra credits.

Five of Play’n GO employees are also nominated in four individual categories: Employee of the Year, Hidden Talent, Industry Achiever and Leader of the Year. It seems like this year the company can’t leave without taking at least one WIG award. But in every category there’s a very tough competition as all the strongest content providers, operators or other iGaming businesses are listed.

The winners will be determined by a panel of judges consisting of eight female industry experts. The ceremony will take place at Savoy Hotel London on the 11th May.
