Microgaming Joins All-in Diversity Project

Microgaming is a well known advocate of fair gaming. They co-founded eCOGRA in 2003 which later turned into one of the most reputable independent authority. Right now they embark on another mission to make sure iGaming is a better place for everyone. On April 10, the studio joined All-in Diversity Project.

Microgaming isn’t the only leading casino content developer to back the project. IGT, GiG and Kindred, which is Unibet’s parent company, have already joined the initiative. All-in Diversity Project was established in 2017 and had received support from multiple gaming businesses. Microgaming and three above mentioned companies are just the most recent project backers. PaddyPower, Caesars Entertainment and some other powerful companies has already joined forces to research and discuss diversity in casino industry.

The initiative will first design tools to measure diversity and inclusion. These tools will be then used to see if there are any improvements achieved during the year. First reports will be provided in 2018. Members will also offer recommendations for companies to improve diversity. Together all those powerful companies will probably be able to make significant changes.

There should be more famous backers of the initiative in the future as diversity and equal pay are widely discussed topics right now. Content providers, operators and other casino industry participants will want to join the project and show they are responsible companies.
